Wu Zhilin
Nursing Supervisor of Sindora
Holder of Senior Nurse Qualification
Elderly Ability Assessor
Health Manager
6 years of clinical nursing experience in a Grade A tertiary hospital affiliated with the military
More than 6 years of nursing management experience in senior care facilities

For Wu Zhilin, who has worked in military hospitals for many years, senior care facilities are places where many seniors entrust the rest of their lives. Therefore, nursing staff need to win the trust of resident seniors and their families with their professionalism and carefulness, and establish a good mutual trust relationship with them.
The secret lies in careful attention to detail. We need to understand each senior’s background, assess their living environment and personality traits, and analyze their genuine needs from a wealth of information.

Wu Zhilin recalled an elderly dementia patient, Grandpa Zhao (a pseudonym), who often paced up and down the corridors and made odd movements. After noticing this phenomenon, Wu Zhilin paid extra attention to Grandpa Zhao’s daily life and figured out his needs based on his usual living habits. Gradually, Grandpa Zhao not only became more cheerful and lively, but also would often take her hand to chat about daily trivialities, making the daily nursing care work much easier.
We strive to minimize the risks for seniors at Sindora and provide them with professional care to the best of our ability – this is the greatest joy for me and my team members.
Beyond work, Wu Zhilin is a mother of two young children. Her kids would sometimes ask innocently, "Do you give injections to grandpa and grandma?" She cherishes the time spent with her children dearly, and their joy constantly inspires her, filling her with greater confidence to face work and life.
Wu Xiu
Senior Nurse, Sindora
Level 2 Senior Care Technician
Nearly 10 years of experience in senior care nursing
Like many people in the senior care industry, Wu Xiu majored in Nursing during her school years. Nearly a decade of professional experience has brought her unique gains. Wu Xiu frankly says that she often treats the seniors as her friends, and they can always open up to each other through communication.

During her tenure at Sindora, Wu Xiu developed an extremely close bond with Grandma Li. After a routine check of Grandma Li’s blood pressure and blood sugar, the observant Wu Xiu noticed suspected signs of herpes zoster on her face. She immediately reported and communicated this to the in-house doctor and Nursing Director of the facility. Following timely reexamination and treatment, Grandma Li’s condition improved significantly, and she even made a special phone call to express her gratitude to Wu Xiu.
This makes me feel that my work is truly meaningful and brings me great joy.

Away from work, Wu Xiu is also a lovely mother. Due to her job, she cannot spend much time with her daughter and often feels guilty about it. "My daughter is very well-behaved and tells everyone that her mom is a great nurse. Occasionally, she throws little tantrums to get my attention," she says. Wu Xiu states that being able to shine in a career she loves and have her child by her side in her spare time is the greatest joy in life.
Zheng Zhiming
Nurse at Sindora
Holder of Nurse Practitioner Qualification
5 years of clinical work experience in a Grade A tertiary hospital
Second Prize in the Hospital-level CPR Skills Competition

Zheng Zhiming, a former clinical nurse, attaches great importance to the future development of China's senior care industry. She believes that in contrast to clinical work, working in a senior care facility allows her to come into contact with more seniors, thereby enabling her to gain a deeper understanding of the diverse manifestations of a range of conditions represented by dementia.
This leaves a much deeper impression on me than learning theoretical knowledge, and it brings me far greater joy as well.
At Sindora, Zheng Zhiming is responsible for the care of many seniors. She says that even though some seniors struggle to express themselves clearly, she can always feel their kindness and recognition—and these moments are her happiest.

I hope that through my efforts, these seniors can truly live the life they desire and find genuine happiness.
Zheng Zhiming has a son who is less than two years old. Beyond work, she also pays great attention to fostering her child’s kindness and respect for the elderly. "My mom takes care of him most of the time at home. Having spent a lot of time with the elderly, he greets the seniors in the community with a smile whenever he goes out. I hope to have the chance to bring my son to Sindora in the future, to play and spend happy time with the seniors here."
Wang Xiaojuan
Nursing Director at Sindora
First Batch of National Associate Senior Care Technician
Associate Senior Nurse, Health Manager
Senior Dietitian, Dementia Friendly Ambassador
Wang Xiaojuan discusses the seniors' conditions with her care team members.
Since the inauguration of Sindora's Nanjing facility, many seniors have moved in, including those with severe dementia. All along, Wang Xiaojuan and her care team members have strived to provide the seniors with "professional respect".
It is crucial to learn how to communicate with seniors with dementia, how to gain their psychological trust, how to guide them, and how to smoothly accomplish their caregiving.
Recently, Wang Xiaojuan and her care team members have been working hard to accomplish such a "task". Grandma Sun (a pseudonym), a resident senior with dementia, requires intensive care and struggles to manage her daily living on her own.

Maybe Grandma and I are destined to connect—she greeted me with a smile the first time we met. After gaining her trust, we need to accurately tap into her needs, try to create a warm atmosphere, and guide her to gradually sync up with me by setting a personal example.
In Wang Xiaojuan’s view, every senior has a unique personality, and there is no one-size-fits-all answer to caregiving methods. Only by observing with love and empathy, combined with professional knowledge, can we do this well and bring joy to both the seniors and ourselves.
When talking about her daughter, Wang Xiaojuan broke into a smile. Having grown up surrounded by such influences, her daughter values filial piety and often comes to the facility to help and keep the seniors company. They are also close friends in life, often doing funny and silly little things together. "For example, letting go of the bike handlebars to sing aloud I Want to Fly Higher while cycling," Wang Xiaojuan could not help chuckling at this. "If I get the chance in the future, I will continue to take her to be a 'volunteer' at Sindora. We advocate intergenerational integration, and hope that children’s unique vitality and joy can inspire the seniors in the facility."
If the work stories of the nurses are touching, then the recognition from resident seniors and their families is a wonderful mutual embrace. Just recently, families of several seniors presented sincere thank-you letters to Sindora:

Mother, Nurse, and Above All, Themselves.
Every side brims with boundless splendor.
May every mother be blessed with eternal happiness.
May every nurse stay healthy and free from care.
May they find value and joy in their work,/span>
and forge their own multifaceted lives!
