Sindora Living, the high-quality empowering senior care brand under the Singaporean multinational conglomerate Keppel, has been awarded one of the top three in the 'Best Assisted Living Operator of the Year' category at the 2024 Asia-Pacific Elderly Care Innovation Awards, often referred to as the 'Oscar' of the elderly care industry. Sindora Nanjing Qixia International Yixiang Home also won a place among the top four for 'Best Assisted Living Facility of the Year.'

This follows Sindora's earlier win in March this year, when it was awarded the prestigious 2024 iF DESIGN AWARD in the 'Service Design' category, marking another major international accolade for the brand this year.
The Asia-Pacific Elderly Care Innovation Awards were established to recognize outstanding organizations and industry representatives in the Asia-Pacific region who are redefining the aging experience through innovative business practices, operational strategies, and service models. Concurrently, the 15th Asia-Pacific Elderly Care Innovation Forum (AAIF), co-hosted by Ageing Asia and the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), was held at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, where the 2024 Asia-Pacific Elderly Care Innovation Awards Ceremony took place. The event gathered 100 leaders from the elderly care industry and 100 exhibitors from various sectors across 50 countries, making it an unprecedented gathering.

The shortlist of candidate companies was determined by a panel of 17 renowned experts from the senior care industry around the world, including industry leaders from well-known organizations such as the Singapore Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), Japan’s Yushoukai Medical Corporation, and Australia’s Aged & Community Care Providers Association.

Regarding the multiple accolades received in this selection, Mr. Gao Tianli, Managing Director of Sindora, stated:

As a high-quality senior care brand under Keppel, Sindora pioneered the 'Empowering Senior Care' model. We integrate our 'Leisure-FUN' philosophy into every detail of daily operations. From thoughtful and meticulous services to an international professional operations team, we are committed to empowering seniors to live fulfilling and beautiful later years. Our first high-end senior care facility in Asia, Sindora Nanjing Qixia International Yixiang Home, began operations in early 2024. Within just a few months, it has rapidly become the industry's focal point, earning the highest honors in the Asia-Pacific senior care sector and gaining recognition and praise from many seniors and their families in Nanjing. At Sindora, seniors can fully enjoy the joys of life, spend wonderful moments together, and experience an entirely new approach to senior care.
During this year’s selection process, the judging panel gave full recognition to Sindora Nanjing Qixia International Yixiang Home, which was shortlisted for the 'Best Assisted Living Facility of the Year' award, and provided affirmation in several aspects.
Below are the reasons for Sindora Nanjing's award:
Advanced Empowerment Concept and Senior-Friendly Living Environment
Sindora Nanjing follows the livable design philosophy of Singapore’s garden city, featuring a green building with LEED Gold certification. The facility is equipped with over 100 age-friendly design elements and introduces various high-tech rehabilitation equipment, including the SK-T8 integrated chronic disease management platform, NeeuroFIT brain training, SMARC rehabilitation devices, and NASA-developed anti-gravity treadmills. Refined Integrated Care and Over 100 Wellness Activities
Moreover, Sindora Nanjing focuses on the nine dimensions of well-being — physical, psychological, social, spiritual, emotional, environmental, economic, vocational, and cultural — emphasizing 'ability' rather than 'disability'.
